HAIR REQUIREMENTS

Ballet - All levels of ballet require a classical ballet bun. If hair is too short to achieve a bun, please secure hair back as neatly as possible. Please watch this YouTube tutorial for step-by-step instructions.

All other classes - Please have hair pulled back neatly in a ponytail, bun or French braid. Dance lessons are a discipline and we want to ensure our dancers take pride in their appearance in the classroom.

JEWELRY

Please keep all personal belongings and jewelry at home. Dancers can have stud earrings in their ears if they cannot be removed but it is preferred to have no jewelry in any dance class.

STUDIO GEAR

Studio South will be bringing in some exciting studio gear for dancers and their parents. Studio gear is approved for certain classes and can be worn in replace of your required class attire. Ballet classes will always follow the requirements and studio gear cannot be worn in ballet classes. Please note there is a difference between Studio Gear and Class Attire.
